PACS is a specialized coagulant used widely for wastewater treatment. The medium high basicity makes PACS a superior coagulant compared to other inorganic coagulants. It is a efficient coagulant for clarification of water (i.e. turbidity/suspended solids removal), with low generation of waste sludge. Sludge formation is more solid and fast settling.
