CHEMCHLOR ACH

CHEMCHLOR ACH

Chemkimia manufactures a wide range of high quality superior performance coagulants registered under the trademark of CHEMCHLOR® ACH CK series. It is the most effective and superior coagulant used in the treatment for potable and industrial waste water due to its high basicity and high Al2O3 concentration. CHEMCHLOR® ACH is manufactured under tight manufacturing standards and uses high quality raw materials. It has an expected shelf life of 5 years.

Description

Aluminium chlorohydrate is a group of specific aluminium salts having the empirical formula of Al2(OH)5Cl. It is used in deodorants and antiperspirants and as a coagulant in water treatment application.

In water treatment, ACH is preferred in some cases because of its high charge, which makes it more effective at destabilizing and removing suspended materials than other aluminium salts such as aluminium sulfate, aluminium chloride, ferric chloride and other conventional coagulant and various forms of polyaluminium chloride in which the aluminium structure results in a lower net charge than aluminium chlorohydrate. Further, the high degree of basicity results in minimal impact on treated water pH when compared to other aluminium and iron salts.

The CHEMCHLOR® ACH CK series have obtained SIRIM’S Product Certification (MS1454:2007) and registered with National Water Services Commission or SPAN for used in water treatment services. It is also HALAL CERTIFIED by JAKIM MALAYSIA. We have also obtained the accreditation from NATIONAL SANITATION FEDERATION (NSF) in 2010 and are certified under NSF/ ANSI 60.
